These colorful, flavorful and healthy recipes are the perfect way to kick off the 4th of July long weekend ahead. You can make these as individual smoothies, layer them or make them into popsicles. If you do choose to layer your smoothie or popsicles, the key is making them thicker than a typical smoothie, but thinner than the consistency you’d use for a smoothie bowl. Ice can help make the consistency thicker. Additionally, don’t pour straight from the blender; if there’s too much force, the layers will start to mix together. Instead, try using a spoon to gently add each layer. Once you get the hang of it, it’s a quick and easy way to pull together an impressive & fun smoothie!
