6 Wellness Mocktails for the Holiday Season
Hold the cider, cocoa, and eggnog. These festive holiday drinks are sure to bring some much-needed refreshment during the holiday season. And it doesn’t hurt to be a little healthier too! Whether you’re on bartending duty for the party or you just need a guilt-free treat, try these six easy mocktail recipes to brighten up the holidays with good health and good cheer.
Liquid Youth Mojito
Serves 1
Ingredients:
- 1 cup sparkling water
- 1 serving Vivix® Liquid
- ½ cup ice
- Mint leaves
- Juice of 1 lime
- Splash of cranberry juice
Garnish
- Lime wedges
- Cranberries
- Blueberries
Directions:
- Put mint leaves and lime juice in a cup. Add splash of cranberry juice.
- Add ice and fill with sparkling water.
- Stir in Vivix® until dissolved.
- Garnish with cranberries, blueberries, mint leaves, and lime wedge.
Liquid Sunrise
Serves 1
Ingredients:
- ½ cup sparkling water
- ½ cup coconut water
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 packet Sustained Energy Boost*
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients in a glass and enjoy!
Pineapple Paradise
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 2 cups pineapple
- 2 cups sparkling water
- 2 mint leaves (plus more for garnish)
- Juice of 1 lime
- 2 packets Essential MultiV Drink mix
- Ice to taste
Garnish:
- Extra mint leaves
- Pineapple slices
- Lime wedges
Directions:
- Blend the pineapple, lime juice, and mint until smooth.
- Divide pineapple mixture evenly into each glass, add ice, and fill with 1 cup sparkling water.
- Mix in Essential MultiV.
- Garnish with lime, mint, and pineapple slices.
Coconut Lime Electrolyte Refresher
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 2 cups coconut water
- 1/3 cup lime juice
- 2/3 cup water
- 2 tsp honey
- 2 packets Low Calorie Electrolyte Drink
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients in a large pitcher or quart-sized mason jar. Stir until the Electrolyte Drink and honey have dissolved.
- Chill in the fridge or serve over ice. Enjoy!
Mango Green Matcha Refresher
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 2 cups water
- 1 packet Energizing Tea Green Matcha
- 1 tsp agave or honey
- 1 large ripe mango or 1 cup frozen mango
- 1 Tbsp lime juice
Garnish:
- Lime wedges
- Mint leaves
Directions:
- Bring the water to a boil in a medium pot.
- Remove pot from heat and add the packet of Green Matcha Energizing Tea and agave syrup to the water. Stir to combine and let steep for 2–3 minutes (no longer, or tea may become bitter). Set pan aside to cool.
- Blend mango, lime juice, and 3 Tbsp water until puréed. Set aside.
- Once tea has cooled, pour it into a pitcher or large jar, then stir in the mango purée. Chill mixture in the fridge for an hour or up to three days. Serve over ice and garnish with a lime wedge and sprig of fresh mint.
NOTE: This mocktail contains caffeine.
Ripe Refreshers
Serves 6–8
Ingredients:
- 1 lb pineapple, watermelon, or honeydew
- 2 cups water
- 2 Tbsp lime juice
Directions:
- Blend sliced pineapple or melon (rinds removed) with water and lime juice.
- Pour mixture through a strainer over large measuring cup or bowl. Press gently on pulp solids to get all the fruit juice out.
- Transfer juice to pitcher and add 2 cups water. Discard any foam that rises to the top. If juice seems too thick, add more water and adjust with more lime juice and sweetener if needed. Serve over ice.
