If you have an active lifestyle, your best partner is healthy nutrition. And if you’ve accepted the Prove It Challenge™, you’re introducing clinically proven nutrition into your daily diet. But during the challenge, your nutrition routine and diet can change drastically! So how does this affect your existing workout routine? Here’s what you need to do to work out and stay active during the various stages of the Prove It Challenge!
Days 1–7: Keep exercise light
The first seven days of the Prove It Challenge are the 7-Day Healthy Cleanse, which means your diet will be limited to mostly fruits and vegetables, and the amounts of protein and carbohydrates you’ll be getting are significantly lower. Because the body needs protein and carbs to repair muscle and restore energy, it’s best that you stay away from high-intensity workouts and heavy weight training while you are doing the cleanse. Instead, try some lower-intensity exercises like walking, jogging, cycling, swimming, and yoga.
If needed, you can add a protein option like a scoop of Life Shake™, a hard-boiled egg, or a 4-oz. piece of baked chicken to give you a boost of energy. But overall, during the cleanse you’ll have fewer nutrients working to repair and restore your muscles. So be careful not to overdo it! You might need to shorten your exercise time or take more breaks in between exercise periods.
Days 8–30: Reintroduce your regular exercise
After you complete the cleanse, you can gradually revert to a regular diet, which brings back carbohydrates and protein in your meals. Don’t forget to apply the healthy practices you picked up during the cleanse to add healthy food choices to your diet. For the remaining days of the challenge, you commit to a daily nutrition routine of replacing one meal with Life Shake and taking a Vitalizer™ strip. Your body now has the necessary nutrients to fuel your regular workout routine, including 20 grams of ultra-pure, non-GMO protein plus leucine to help preserve muscle mass, build lean muscle, burn fat, and improve metabolism.
With your regular diet plus one meal of Life Shake, you can do high-intensity exercises like weight training, HIIT, hiking, running, and long-distance cycling. You can also exercise more frequently and for longer periods of time. Of course, do what works for you and be careful not to overdo it! But you will have much more nutrition working for you to promote energy and repair muscles.
After the challenge: Keep feeling amazing!
When you complete the challenge, we recommend that you keep up your workout routine along with your nutrition routine of a shake and strip a day. The best part of the Prove It Challenge is that you can continue it for as long as you like, and it provides the necessary nutrients you need to live an active lifestyle. So accept the challenge, and get moving!
